about

A trading operating system built the way trading actually works.

a self-directed trader in India today has an engine somewhere, charts somewhere else, a broker in a third window, and a tax file that nobody wants to compute. vajraquant collapses that loop into one product — with the white-box positioning the SEBI framework effectively requires, and the tax discipline that a serious trader's CA needs. India-first. INR-priced. built quietly until it works.

the principles

what we will not trade away.

white-box, always

every strategy you run is code you can read. templates are code, not a hidden lookup. the AI writes Python — never a signal you obey. this is the position, not a compromise.

the kill switch is sacred

per-strategy, per-account, global. always visible in the app chrome. two taps from any mobile screen. it never lives next to a delete button.

never lie about state

if a feed is stale, we grey the number and stamp the time. an order is pending until the broker confirms. the status page reflects reality, automatically, not marketing.

money math is deliberate

every money column is NUMERIC, never float. every timestamp is UTC. every tax figure stores the rule version. every filed year is immutable.

one credit currency, hard billing cap

one meter, one price, one cap. the cap is in the API — not a dashboard warning. you never open a five-figure bill you didn't consent to.

no performance claims

we never promise returns. never say guaranteed, proven, or consistent profits. compliance and good copy agree here.

the shape of the company

a lean build, then revenue, then a raise on artefacts.

we are pre-launch and building on free tiers by design. hosting is local or on free hobby plans; the database is a hobby-tier managed Postgres; email is dev-captured; the LLM budget is capped by the week. we cut everything that does not need to exist yet. we do not hire until launch, and we do not retain counsel until there's a legal page for counsel to sign off.

we ship the marketing site first. we ship the demo slice — plain English to strategy code to backtest to replay to overfitting verdict — before we ship the terminal. we ship the tax module in time for filing season, because that is the cheapest sellable product in the whole roadmap and it has zero external dependencies. live execution and multi-broker follow the money, not the other way round.

when we launch we hire and we upgrade the perimeter — proper infrastructure, counsel, an external security auditor, real market data. not before.

waitlist

start when we're ready.

we'll email once when there's something to sign up for. no drip, no digest.

no drip, no digest. one email when there's a real product to sign up for.
